Application guidance

If visiting only one Member State, apply to that state directly. Work-related travel requires a national work visa. ECOWAS citizens do not require a visa to enter any ECOWAS Member State.

Passport Validity Requirement

Your travel document must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry. ECOVISA is for non–Member State travellers visiting two or more Member States.

Estimated processing

Typical officer review is 3–10 working days after payment, depending on Member State volume.
